Are any Christians being terrorized by Satans secret society / NWO?

Have you & your family members been threatened if you wont join, except one of there demonic "God's", live in complete silence and obedience, and go through the secret ceremony performed with transcendental meditation enforced by witchcraft / demonic forces? Have they threatened your employment by false accusations and the establishment of NWO members in management positions? Has the Illuminated masons 33 degree and below / eternally dammed used drug dealers and gang members to terrorize your neighbor hood in their pyramid system of government? When law enforcement is notified do they perform there duty's of service as servants of the people, or do they shine you off with rude comments acknowledging there affiliation with the "Free" Masons and involvement in the brotherhood / NWO? Has this brotherhood of evil / NWO / Satan's Secret Society spread like malignant cancer throughout society to the extent that it is going to take a act of God to surgically remove it? Why is it that the NWO doesnt want the HORN SIGN being used to acknowledge there allegiance to Satan & his Secret society / NWO? Is it because shhhhh its a secret? The media has surly made an effort to try and eliminate it. Is G.W. the skull and cross bones men / Free Masons been informing the NWO to shut its pie hole so they can enforce Satans rule in complete secrecy? What do you think? Is this how Adolph Hitler and his German army / SS eliminated millions secretly in concentration camps? Have you run into the Nazis within the order & there SS? The cancer is here!!! Did you receive your spiritual mark and one way ticket to HORROR & PAIN for eternity?

Take into account the nice neighborhoods and the cost of living in and around the cities.

Tampa by deff alot more clubs and alot more tourist

Places to hike in hudson valley ny?

Im looking for a long trail, not something I can do in a day, where I wont have to really cross roads or anything. What I would really like is if their are any trails, official or just woodland, that run up to albany. Basically, I just want an adventure in the woods that could last atleast a week, not just staying in one place.

thanks.

Check out the Appalachian trail. That thing stretches through half the country, and it's not very far. I used to hike it for a few miles, nice sights to see.

Where can I find a cozy studio apartment with safe neighborhood and is accessible to makati CBD for P5000?

Converting yen to dollars (cash)?

I was just reimbursed - in cash - for my plane ticket to (and from) Japan and for living expenses (2 weeks) while in Japan. Quite a chunk of change. What's my best option for converting that back to U.S. dollars? Exchange it while still in Japan (bank? airport?)? Carry it back to the US and do it there (I live near NYC - no shortage of banks there)? Something else?

I don't think it really matters. Just do it whenever its convenient for you.

You will get a better exchange rate in Japan, and unlike American financial institutions, most Japanese places don't charge commission, so you're doubly better off making your exchange in Japan.

Or you can walk into a Citibank branch and get your cash converted to a cashier's check in US dollars. You will get an exchange rate that's even better, but there will be a handling fee which will likely set you back. But it would be much safer than carrying around a large amount of cash.

The exchange rate fluctuates every day, so it will be impossible to time the market. You will have to live with the rate you get and accept the losses or potential profit you didn't make.

Nobody can answer the best because the rate will fluctuate everyday.

If you have no schedule to go back to Japan soon, convert all balance at the teller in airport but you can only change Yen bills, not Yen coins anywhere.

You could consume up your Yen coins with your credit card at the airport Kiosk too. You can't use any Yen coin in NYC indeed.

What is Swedens national flower? Is there one?

What is Swedens national flower? Is there one?

Please provide sources...

thanks!

Linnea Borealis or Twinflower

Linnea Borealis or Twinflower is the national flower of Sweden. Named after Linnaeus (the Swedish 'father of taxonomy'), Linn is a very delicate wild plant - just about 1 in. high - growing in the deep shadow of Northern spruce forests. The plant has two flowers on top of each very thin stem. Foliage is in the form of creeping runners growing in deep moss. The flowers are pink, bell-like, very fragrant and grow in pairs.

Medical Field, felony?

i overdosed on someone elses adderall ten years ago and got a felony for consuming and buying someone elses drugs, i really want to be a anastiologist though. i havent got any other marks on my record could i go back to school and get a good job? what are the chances?? if i waited another 10 years would it be better?

What can you do? I would double check to learn if you were convicted of a felony. Did you spend time in a penitentiary? I would look as the disposition order from the court to be sure what the conditions of your conviction were stated to by in the court Order and the remarks in the sentencing hearing. Prescription abuse is an ordinary event in cesspool U.S.A. I think you could pursue your plans now. Waiting 10 years seems unrealistic when the money involved in pursuing a professional certification is taken into account.

Is a neurologist a good job?

Good pay?

Good job?

answer please?

Neurologists have a really good salary. I heard that the average pay for a neurologist is about $175,000 per year, but I'm not sure about that. That's the field that I'm trying to get into!

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "good" job but I think that it has it's goods and bads. IMO, The positives of neurology is that it makes you think. Also, the pay is excellent!

I think the big negative in neurology is that a lot of the times you don't know what you're dealing with. Most of the time you won't be able to point out right away what the problem is. You'd have to take a lot of tests to figure out the problem. It's a pretty difficult field, but if you like it and if you're good at it, I think it could be a good job for you.

Good Paying Jobs????

What are some good paying jobs?

Name any type, i don't care if iv never heard of it

Do you need to go to college to do it?

If so for how many years?

Do you have to go to school again after college?

If so how many more years?

totally unrelated but I was just searching for the answer to your question as well, this economy really does suck.

I just graduated with BA in business with no experience I am having a hard time.

Does anyone think it would be hard to pass a access to nursing and midwifery course if i`v had 2 kids?

I signed up for a access to nursing an midwifery course because i love babies no a lot about it because me and my midwife an health visitor are good friends i also wanted to do something that was helping an benefiting other`s and thought it would be best to get a long term carer because i got 2 kids and i am a single mother, should i just go for it?

no way it may be easier for u beacuse u already went thru 2 labours and 2 births and u know how painful it will be for the women, u can give them your compassion and care and u can help them thru it with gentle positive things to say,

u should go for it!!!!, do!!!!!

Midwifery school is supposedly very hard. If you have strong biology, chemistry, and anatomy background... no to mention medical it would help. I think it would also depend on the state you are in as to the requirements to be a midwife...

Good luck!

Is it difficult to get a job in the medical billing in coding field?

I have heard that it is very difficult to get a job in this field without 2 or 3 years experience. Is this true? This is a field that i am really interested in pursing, but i don't want to waste my time or my hard earned money on this course if employers or years of experience before they will even hire you. Am i making the right decision by choosing this field?

experience or a certificate. depends on where you are looking and how badly they need a person.

Certified Nursing Assistant program?

There is a school in the city where i live that offers a CNA, Patient Care Technician, Home Health Aid, and a CPR combo program together. I will take all 4 of these combo programs together for 4 months. Does this sound like i am making the right decision by getting into these programs?

I would first look at whether the program is accredited within the industry and also consider how (mentally and physically) stressful the job may be of a cna. Please do consider the affordable program(s) as opposed to those private $$ schools.

My career, i feel so depressed!?

my ex was a medical student with me; he broke up with me after he got engaged to another girl . last time i contacted him was a year ago when i called him and yelled @ him and wished him the worst ,

just to let you know; he was always verbally abusive and i kept treating him with love; but when he told me i am not the one for him ; i kept questioning why he is doing this to me; he said i was just there to please myself sexually and meant nothing to him; and if i wanted he can hook me up (for sex) purporses with his cousin. i kept crying he said i was pathetic with no dignity and i was not crazy but insane

now the question is ; in order for me to apply to a job i have to do volunteer work and the hospital that i have high chances of getting accepted @ is affiliated with the hospital he works at, do i go there or not, i dont want to see him again; do i apply to another hospital but have lower chances or getting accepted; or do i give him the satisfaction of seeing me single; just like he said that i will be a single doctor, because of my career choice and personality

Ultimately it comes down to whether or not you can deal with working around him. I have always been a firm believer in doing what is best for me. If working there is your best career option then I would go for it. Additionally, you will be surprised at how empowering it can be to achieve your goals despite everything that is going on. If need be, consume yourself in your work so you don't have to think about it.

The best thing you can do is to prove him wrong in everything he has said. WIth people like that who have to put others down to make themselves feel better, it is pointless to try to argue or defend yourself because it will get you nowhere. Simply live your life and accomplish your goals.

Hope this helps.

Your ex is an asshole. If i were you i wouldn't give 2 shits about him being there. If you have a very good chance of getting an excellent job at the hospital then go for it. Don't let your ex ruin things for you. If you don't do this volunteer work at this hospital , you might not have this good opportunity come along again. If i were you, i would not pass this chance up.

Apply to the hospital where you have the highest chance to get accepted, and also to other hospitals where you think your chances are lower. Then you will make your choice if you have several positive answers!

Stop thinking about this guy and what he may think of you. It seems it won't be difficult for you to find someone better than him! Be confident and you will find someone!

just do it,think about whats best for you.you have nothing you need to prove to him.he has already moved on and you dont need to let him hold you back from getting a good job

He's your ex... and was un-supportive and abusive to boot.

If you want to be a nurse/doctor/other then there should be nothing standing in your way. To be a medical professional requires tremendous strength of character and ability to handle stresses of life and death matters.

Apply where you have the best chance... this should have nothing to do with your ex or anyone else for that matter.

If you really want to be a nurse/physician/other then the LAST thing on your mind should be where your ex works or anything he's said about you.

I'm so tempted to say, Grow Up, it's your life, but, I do not want to be mean. I'm hoping you will see this on your own, though.

Good luck, sweetie.

I'm sorry that you've dealt with such an abusive person. Your ex sounds very degrading of others especially you. If it were me, I would try to stay as far away as I could from this individual as abuse can escalate albeit the two of you are no longer (thankfully) in a relationship (and hopefully never will again :) Perhaps you can apply to some other hospitals, if even, the next state just over the border of your state of residence.

For counseling due to effects of abuse and self-esteem issues, here is a site to possibly find resources: http://www.ndvh.org

I'm really shy and nervous about communicating with the residents.

Is it difficult to come up with conversation? I know that people with disabilities are just the same as everyone else, I'm just scared that they won't like me.. :\

I looked on the site (believe that it's same place that you're referring to) and it seems like a lovely place (though 'looks can be deceiving' ;) Please don't be worried that the residents won't take to you. Just about everyone worries about that, but with experience, one can become more self-assured and confident. Regarding conversation, one may be able to comment about the current weather conditions/favorite season(s), the resident's logo on his or her top, piece of jewelry that the resident is wearing, looking at the newspaper together and talking about some current events (hopefully nothing too upsetting), hobbies and interests of both of you. It's also a good idea to talk to them as though they don't have limitations such as if used to play basketball but now unable to due to legs not working correctly, referring to them as someone who 'plays' (instead of 'played') basketball.

Perhaps http://www.yahoo.com has more suggestions for conversation starters. One can just type into search.

Unemployment/medical leave?

I have a family member who has had an opiate addiction for the past 5 years. Recently, he told his employer and was offered paid medical leave to go to treatment. He was told his job would be available to him as soon as he was released to come back. He did so, and upon his return, was informed that he was still indeed employed there, but basically as a broom pusher - down from a very advance position in the company.

Going through union representation will take a long time. Hes been told that if he doesn't take this position, he'll be fired.

My question - If he was to be fired, would he get unemployment? On what conditions does someone get those benefits? I want to help but don't know where to start. And as you might guess, the family is overwhelmed right now.

Honest and non-judgmental answers will be appreciated.

Thank you.

I would have your friend check with a labor representative. He should find out exactly what the terms were for his medical leave and his employer keeping his job open.

It sounds to me like they are just trying to bully him into quitting of his own accord so they won't have to pay him any benefits. (of course, that is my own opinion from reading the above question)

You could also check with your local employment division regarding unemployment benefits; they may also have some answers concerning the medical leave/employment question as well.

If the employee was on medical leave, the employer is required to keep him employed and offer an equivalent position upon his return. The only way he can terminate such person is if the position itself was eliminated through process such as re-organization or layoffs.

I'm sure you didn't actually mean custodial work.

This would be a good time to consult an attorney for options. Someone will need to evaluated all the circumstances and come to a game plan. Getting an anonymous tips from open forums such as this, based on incomplete information won't help you/him much.

Good luck.

Medical transcription?

I am currently taking some online school for MT, I am towards the end but am having really hard time doing it. I even try skipped two weeks and now I am too lazy to go back and finish. It is getting very hard and difficult with transcribing reports and even understanding what the doctors say on the dictation tapes. I don't want to give up because I paid nearly $2,000. Any advice or encouragement. PLEASE NO BAD REMARKS.

If you are almost at the end, get 'er done..lol! You might find that if you finish you can have an easy a laid back career! I went through that about six years ago, though I went to a physical school, and I work at home, set my hours, my days are so much better than they ever used be even just by the mere fact that I am working from home! The other thing I will tell you is that the tapes we had to transcribe in school were horrendous...lol! I have yet to type a report that was as awful as those tapes we had to type from in school (if this gives you any encouragement to know that it more than likely will never be as hard as it is now)! You are probably at a hurdle with this and once you pass this hurdle, you will be amazed at how much clearer you can hear the dictators, most of my class had this hurdle at one point or another! It did help me to have others in class who were going through the same thing and then seeing them pass their hurdles would give me the encouragement to continue onward! You can do it, you will be happy you did!! Hope I helped?!

Should I be a doctor or RN nurse?

Hi, I'm in 7th grade and have been homeschooled all my life, I'm going into public school this year though. Even though some people don't think homeschoolers are smart I think I'm smart and I relly want to be a doctor or RN nurse when I grow up.

I think I'd make a really good doctor because health intrests me and I like to help others, but on the other hand, being an RN nurse might be easier and is more in the realm of being possible. Even though being an RN nurse seems good, My dream job is to be a doctor. Would this be to hard and expensive dream to pursue? I'm taking health this coming school year (in public school) so that should help either career.

My parents are willing to pay around $25,000 - $30,000 to put me through college, the rest I have to pay myself. How much would it cost to get a suitable degree to be a doctor? (p.s. the doctor I want to be is a Diagnostician - the kind of doctor House is) And do I have to go through 8 years of college AND medical school? How long does medical school last (and cost)? What do i have to do to be an RN nurse?

I'm also scared that if I try to become a doctor I might fail and end up losing tons of money put into college. But I also know that I won't ever give up. What should I do?

p.s. please also mention stuff that RN nurses do on a daily basis

Doctor:

http://www.explorehealthcareers.com/en/C...

Registered Nurse:

http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos083.htm#natur...

well you are in 7th grade so thats thinking alot ahead but if you get good enough grades to be a dr. i would say go for that!

I want to be a nurse pracitioner because they are almost a dr they can have patients and can give out certain perscriptions but they dont have as much responcibility as a dr, and get better working hours (i would think) maybe go for a pratitioner if a dr doesnt work out (i think its like 2 more years of school)

also if you are going to be a dr be prepared for another 10 years of school when to become a nurse its 4 and then 2 to become a practitioner ( or at least here in manitoba)

one thing is you might find the change from home school to public really hard and your marks might slip at first dont worry about this too much and dont give up just try your hardest

Jobs in Medical Field while in the Air Force or Army?

I'm 17 and a junior in high school. I've decided that i'm gonna join the air force or the army and i want to attend college also. I would like to work in the medical field at school and on the job. But i don't know what part of the field i want to go in.

Yeah i know RN's(Registered Nurse) make good money after awhile but i also want to know if there are any other varieties of a physical therapist. any Help?

1.Which is better, Air Force or Army?

2.What are good jobs on in the medical field?

3....i just wanted to add 3.lol

Air Force is the best branch of service...,It is the support group for the others. It has the most advanced medical fields. However. Take my word of experience...what you sign up for is never what you get. My son out of high school signed up for computers. His "computer" field turned out to be repairing F-15 Eagles guidance systems on the active flight line. It was mostly just switching out one control box for another. that's as close to a computer he ever got. Once your name is on the dotted line...you're theirs...They put you where they want you...My son has been in 23 years, and is getting ready to retire, but all that schooling he was supposed to be able to get...he has a 2 year associates degree. It ain't all what they say.

But if you want to know about opportunities in the military medical fields, Just talk to a recruiter; he can lie to you about it better than anybody. He can downright convince you to "sign on the dotted line"

Ok army is not better than the airforce and vice versa, while i have friends in both branches, my husband is in the Army and Im in school working towards a medical degree also (Psychiatry), My biggest fear is getting PCS'd..If they say move, you have to move. Stability is never a guarantee and thats realy hard to do while in college. We havent gotten PCSd because my husband is still in iraq (over a year now), but that is the only concern i have with it.

Also, at the base where we are stationed there are civilian nurses that work at the TMC, they go through certain clearance before being able to work there but, just thought I would throw it out there.

The medical profession is a worthwhile career road, nevertheless if you find that you are not suited for this sort of work, have a go at making your income with Google, there's a no-risk trial here http://pifamefs.museco.net

Do you think that there is something wrong with a CNA not wanting to go back to school to become an RN?

I am a certified nursing assistant and i really do not want to go back to school to become a Registered Nurse. Instead i would prefer to advance further in my career and become a Dialysis Technician instead. Do you think that i am making the right career choice?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Some people are satisfied exactly where there are-no matter what they are. Many CNA's do not want to become RN's. Being an RN is a lot of responsibility. After being a CNA, many can not fathom being responsible for more no matter the pay. I personally, am in the process of going to school to become an RN, however I see noting wrong with those who do not want to be.

Only you can best judge what field you would be best in. It definitely seems like you have interest in the medical field. I would suggest you continue to follow through with whatever goals you may have, especially since it seems your heart is set on it. Many people are getting into the medical field because they are the most "recession proof" jobs. You could experience the best of both worlds!

Good Luck

Absolutely.

I am an RN, and I would rather work with a CNA who is knowledgeable and cares about the job than someone who is ONLY using it as a stepping stone. Nursing is tough, and if I did not love it, and want to be a nurse from the time I was a little girl, it would have been impossible.

Actually, the last clinical job I worked was as a dialysis nurse, and I have the same comment - a great tech made the day go very well. Things were organized, I did not have to worry about the patients, because I knew they were well cared for.

One thing is check the salary - when one of the techs, who was my friend, told me what she was making, I was appalled. It was around 12/hr. Techs have much responsibility, and can affect the patient either very positively or very negatively.

I believe that the right career path for you is the one where you enjoy your job, and do not hate getting out of bed each day.

I wish you the best!

There is nothing wrong with that. You are an important aspect of the health care team and the team could not do without you. You are probably more of a people person, more caring, and you want to be more hands on with the patients/residents as opposed to performing nursing tasks. I commend you. If you are happy with what you are doing, stick with it. Many people search an entire life time for a job that they truly love and you are lucky to have found that for yourself. Good luck!

I don't see anything wrong with not wanting to become an RN after being a CNA. I didn't, and now I'm working general maintenance, which has nothing whatsoever to do with nursing. Becoming a Dialysis Technician sounds like a great career move (better than my choice), good for you!

How much would a taxi ride from Los Angeles to San Francisco cost?

Well, it all depends on the company you use, but it will be well over 1000.00.

Put it this way, youre better off renting a car or flying.

Im fifteen and going to daytona fl with my friends for spring break what should i bring (clothes, extra)?

Im fifteen and going to daytona fl with my friends for spring break what should i bring (clothes, extra) were going to drive down from michigan and stopping in tennesse for a night

If you driving, be sure to have an MP3 player of some sort, and maybe magazines or books. Road trips can get VERY boring if you don't have anything to keep you occupied. Also while in Florida, have a camera, the obvious clothing, and toiletries. Bringing a pillow for the car ride would be a good idea too, that way if you fall asleep your neck does not hurt from an awkward position.

Have fun on your trip, and stay safe.

Daytona Bch, Fla, is nice place to stay, a lot of hotels and places to visit like ponce inlet harbour, museums, clubs, etc., well the weather is soft in here, but you should take some warm clothes as well cause sometime it's cool seabreeze

Whats high school like in Canada?

12th Grade. I mean.

miserable. very crowded, and the curriculem is a lot different from america/other countires. for social, we don't learn about all the states, we learn about dumb stuff like pioneers. and the 7 year war, and the struggle for acadia, dumb stuff like that. although, the curriculam is 1 year easier I think..... why? you moving here?

The same as high school in most other places.

The same as everywhere else.

Why is it that pilots are able to fly free for any airline?

My uncle is a Pilot for jetblue and he is able to fly free for any airline. Why is that. He can only fly though if there are seats available. (jumpseating)

It is just a deal between airlines. As you note, it can be quite restrictive and sometimes requires a very circuitous routing to get to a popular destination.

It's a courtesy and a benefit for being a pilot and working in the airline industry in general. But it's not as glamorous as it may sound. Imagine sitting on an ironing board for anywhere from an hour or two to 12 hours or more if you have to jumpseat overseas and there are no passenger seats available in the cabin.

Also there's no guarantee of getting on if that airline's jumpseat is already taken by a pilot for that airline. Say your uncle is trying to jumpseat on Delta but a Delta pilot already has the jumpseat. Your uncle is then placed on Delta's standby list at the very bottom, after all Delta employees, spouses, kids, parents, retirees, AND buddy passes. Not too great a benefit in that case, huh?

it's a deal between airlines. it's professional courtesy, it offers pilots another perk, and it can help get pilots to a certain city if they are suddenly needed there

Egyptian women: Would you marry a man who would not help you with the children? Around the home or help cook?

I think you will find that this happens all over the world not just in egypt.

I personally would like to have a husband that helped out alittle but it depended on what i did. If i didnt work then i would be happy to do the cooking and cleaning etc. but I would like him to help out with the children, even just spending time with them as i think its good for children to have both parents where possible

my husband don%26#039;t help me cook which i don%26#039;t mind at all but i get upset sometimes when am tired or so %26amp; he don%26#039;t even put his glass on the table but since he noticed it makes me upset he changed a bit not 100% but a bit which is ok with me

The problem is that you%26#039;ll never know until you%26#039;re already married.

Why do some Egyptian men say they don

Its just a personal choice. maybe they dont personally find egyptian women attractive. or maybe they want to experience a different culture of been with someone different.

I dont think its an attack on egyptian women.

Foreign women are more practical tha Egyptian women...But after all when I m going to get married I will marry an Egyptian girl cause we have the same traditions.

coz they r stupid

am egyptian woman & married to lebanese who swares that he was blessed by marring me (am not exaggerating i sware this is the truth)

what are you talking about?! Egyptian women are so adorable.

shhhhhhhh .... that's for the sake of some thumbs up ; )

Because they have "3o2det el 7'awaga".

They don't appreciate their own kind.

maybe because they are because ??

probably because they are not good looking

How would you know they said that?

Sick on the plane? Help Please :)?

So I fly on the plane like 2-3 times a year and usually never get sick, but the last few times I have gotten very dizzy and feel like I have to throw up? Is this motion sickness? Are there any common medications that I do not need a prescription for that would help me? Thank you (oh the flight is 9 hours if that helps)

Sounds like motion sickness. The most common drug to take is Dramamine. No prescription is required. Talk to pharmacist and see if they know where you can get some. It will make you a little sleepy.

Question about National Archives in DC?

Do you have to make reservations or can you just go in? I mean, to go in and see the Declaration of Independence and documents like that, not to go in and look through documents.

Thanks in advance.

No reservations required. There may be a queue (line) or there may not be one, depending on the luck. I have seen it both ways.

This is my help from Washington, D.C. United States of America.

Please pick an answer as the best answer, even if it is not mine.

you don't have to make a reservation, but make sure your like over 14 i think, be with an adult

Is there anything that exists that is like an au pair program but you can go with a friend?

Im interested in becoming an au pair but would be completely sold if I didn't have to go alone! Is there a program that anyone knows of that allows you to live with a friend or something that would at least make sure you are in the same area as a friend?

The best you could hope for is a family that wants two au pairs.

Otherwise au pairs don't really have any choice, it's not like the agency can find families in the same neighborhood just for you two.

And most au pairs I know are really quite brave and daring souls that don't need existing friends in their host country. They go out and explore! I have two friends here that ended up staying, studying, living with their [non-host] boyfriends and getting pregnant :) Young Europeans all of them.

And the host families don't always accept the girls they get, or the girls don't like the families. The girls get new hosts, but on short notice they have little choice in their placement.

If you taller then the bars in jamica can your drink?

I heard that in Jamica if your taller than the bar you can drink is that true

There will be someone that will sell you a drink but if you are underage you should not be drinking. Some bars in the Caribbean islands do not enforce the legal drinking age but on ships and hotels they might.

no not true. you may get away with drinking if you look older than your actual age but the legal age to drink is 18.

Why are airports so important as staging point for international travel?

Because in many parts of the world the only convenient way to access the majority of the other countries is by air travel. They're simply too far away for any other mode to be efficient.

Airports are 'gateways' into and out of a country. That's where customs and immigrations are located. Before air travel, ship ports where the gateways. Although there are still some roadways between countries, most people prefer air travel.

Face threading..OH MY GOD ITS MASOCHISTIC!!?

So my neighbor comes over last night.

"Hey NM, you gotta hairy face, Im gonna thread it."

"I do?? *looks in mirror* No I dont?"

"Yes you do lemme thread it it'll only take a few minutes"

"uuh, ok. does it hurt?"

"No more than doing your eyebrows"

OH MY GOD SHE WAS LYING!!!!! i THINK IT HURT MORE THAN LABOR! IT HURT MORE THAN MY GALLSTONE DID!

Im not kidding when I say my eyes were tearing up, I said every cuss word in the book, and she eventually had her legs intwined around my chest to keep me from squirming. She even did my nose ( I had hair on my nose?!) and wanted to do my sideburns even but I didnt let her.

Ok, Not that I thought I had a HAIRY FACE but I can see the differance now that I did it. But in repacement of that "hair" now I got all these red bumps! EEK! Do any of the women here do that? How do I make these bumps go away before my husband gets back from his trip tomorrow?!!?

OMG! you make me laugh so hard..my first laugh of the day!

Darn, just try to use some ice cubes to reduce the swelling..

You are so funny!!!

LOL! I tricked my mom and her friends into getting it done at a salon as well, they were all screaming. Imagine getting your knuckles done, they held nothing in. Cuss words were flying.

The bumps are natural, right after you get threading done you are supposed to put cold water on the spot to keep the redness down, some cream will help to sooth it as well because it just went through a tramatic experience.

Good luck, and funny story.

LOL. You reminded me of the movie '40yearold virgin;. This guy in the movie get wax off his hair on chest. He cussed alot too lol.

hehe funny story! I've never tried it, and now I don't think I will EVER try it, lol!

lol , just use some ice or a cream :)

I have had this done; not the whole face though. And only once. Like you said, it hurts. My daughter had it done a number of times.

The woman who threaded us was Pakistani. She remarked that the roots of our hairs were a lot bigger than she was used to in Pakistani/Indian women; maybe it hurts blonds more than brunettes.

So why did you let her continue if it was so painful? LOL

Okay now you have bumps? We didn't get bumps, but I think what you have to do is treat your face with hot damp cloth (not hot enough to hurt! Use your common sense!) for a few minutes, then cold for a minute. This will accelerate healing. The face heals very fast anyway. After this I recommend some aloe vera gel. You know, the stuff they sell to put on sunburn. Or else, straight from the aloe vera plant. This is soothing. You should be back to normal soon.

What are the solutions to these problems?

Litter left on beaches

Sex, drugs, alcohol and prostitution become encouraged.

Locals cut off from rivate ?beach and hotel areas.

Younger generation opy?western culture and may ead them away from their culture and education?br>

Traditional jobs such as farming and fishing are lost thank you

ps. these are all problems because of tourism in Kenya

Every kind of progress brings problems, or rather challenges with it. But do not blame all the problems on tourism. I know that many good intentioned tourists bring a lot of development and aid with them. The younger generation should be encouraged to hold on to the good values of their culture but the older generation also should struggle to eradicate bad aspects in their different cultures and give a good example in their life and behaviour to the young ones. Above all corruption in all places should be fought by all to eradicate poverty and injustice.

You start of by demanding a government that doesn't put all the aid it receives in its own pockets, then maybe if people started to get a better standard of life where they lived they wouldn't be so enthusiastic to go somewhere else. So instead of blaming other people and cultures you should look closer to home first.

Will piercing set off a metal detector?

I got some new piercings my parents dont know about, tomorrow i will be going on a plane, will they set off the metal detectors??

i have 3 and i've never had to worry about it- although mine are pretty small. i wouldn't wear anything with metal rivits like jeans or any other jewerly that day

the metal detectors go off a total amount of metal on your body. if it goes off, they will just take you into the glass box and wave a wand around/pat down

It depends on the amount and type of metal involved.

Regards,

Dan

it shouldn't mine didnt.

People that live in Cleveland,OH...HELP!?

well im going to Ohio this Wednesday, and i checked the weather but im just wondering, is it cold like wear a scarf, or a jacket or would a t shirt and a sweater be OK?

i live in Florida so cold weather is weird for me.

It's going to be in the 40's during the day, and colder at night.

I see people, especially guys, sometimes going out without a coat or jacket, but for me, I have to have a jacket and a scarf with this kind of weather.

I would probably wear a sweater and bring your jacket along to wear. Depending how heavy your jacket is, it may still be cold for you, but I don't think you need a scarf.

I just switched over from my heavy winter coat to my spring (lighter) jacket, but I'm used to the weather up here.

Oh, that's funny. You're going to love it here.

It could be 70 degrees tomorrow and snow the next day. Just one of the many joys of living here. Pack for anything especially this time of year.

I am planning on going travelling to thailand in August, I know it is rainy season. Will this hinder my trip?

Should I look at other places like cambodia? or will I be ok, I dont mind rain, just dont want it to be wet for the entire time I will be there.

Advice from people that have been or live there only please, I have read about weather on the net.

Many thanks

You will get some rain during that time of year but the rain usually stops in an hour or two and the sun comes out again. Often the rain falls at night. Some minor flooding until the drains can handle the downpour.

When it rains stop in a mall, visit a restaurant, catch up on your sleep, or see a movie. The rain will stop and the air will be nice and clean and the greenery will be in full bloom.

One advantage of this time of year is that the hotels will be at "low season" pricing and it will be pretty easy to get a place on a walk in if you want.

Safety advice for women is not that different than for men. Be careful of who you trust with your hotel key! Don't fully trust any strangers you meet on the road. Avoid dark areas late at night, if you feel funny about something then don't do it!

My recommendation is that you stay in at least cheap hotels with air conditioning because then you can keep the windows locked. With fan only rooms (especially first/bottom floor) you usually only have screens keeping people out. A/C rooms are quieter too! Don't flash money around. I usually keep small bills in one pocket instead of looking through a fat wallet all the time.

Use the security box in your hotel room for valuables. I would leave a laptop at home if you intend to stay in cheap dorm type places. For photos you can use a Flash Drive or portable hard drive if you want. They will fit in a safety box and most laptops do not! There are lots of cheap internet shops all over Thailand you can use.

On buses, planes, trains even taxi cabs - keep your important stuff like passports, electronics, money, jewelry (better to leave good stuff at home anyway) and medicines with you at your seat. Don't put money, passport, medicines, valuables in your checked in bag, anywhere - even in your own country!

Keep in touch with your family and friends, tell them who you meet and travel with. Let your friends and family know where you are heading for and with whom. If you are going on a tour tell your hotel where you are going and with what company and tell them when you should be back.

I met a couple older women traveling alone who would use their camera phones to photograph the driver when they went on long trips. They forwarded those camera pics to friends.

Watch out for scams. Google up scams in Bangkok for more info. Tuk-tuks are often mentioned in scams, gems and gold/jewelry usually figure in some scams. If it seems too good to be true it probably isn't! (Meter taxi cabs, paying the meter fare only, are cheaper for tourists than tuk-tuks anyway!)

Check out the travel forums below for specific information. When you need hotel recommendations mention how much you want to pay per night. Hotels/hostels start around 200 baht and go on up to over 6000 baht per night. Choose a baht figure for you hotel price.

I personally think that Thailand may be safer for you to travel in than perhaps your own country providing you do not do silly things like use dope, travel with dopers, get wasted every time you have a few drinks! Most of the problems I read about with women is when booze or men they pick up are involved!

Good luck.

Only time it will hinder your trip is if there is flooding. As for being a female here, your not the first to travel alone here. Don't do drugs, don't accept drinks from strangers, do walk on the beach alone at night, don't walk in unlit areas, don't insult the King or a Thai person, and always keep your senses about you.

I'll give you some advice about Thailand.

Great food, beautiful scenery.

But don't forget novembers fiasco, many of my friends were stuck there for 3 weeks when they only set out for a week and a half.

Despite this they got engaged so sometimes you gotta take risks , they can sometimes work out for the best.

Have a great Vacation/Holiday

ive been to bankok as well as cambodia within that month last year and weather is good. note that the place is a tropical country so weather can be unpredictable even the forecast can be erratic sometimes.

tropical countries can be sunny all year round, more sun, less rain:)

Went last year July and although it's rainy, it only rains for a while and then stops...doesn't last the whole day like it does here in UK. You'll have a fab time!

If you roll more in Northern Thailand you would do better with the weather that time of year.

Is ther any stores in dubai that sell emo stuff?

im new in dubai and im really looking for a sotre jst like hottopic which sell lots of emo stuff but i ***** find any stores in dubai!!! since in my country america have emo stores n stuff i thought they had here too but i ***** find!!! plz tell me the store and location

You can find *some* stuff in Burjuman, but be prepared to pay a pretty penny. Ibn Battuta on Sheikh Zayed Road near Jebel Ali used to have a Hot Topic look-alike (called Rage or something equally banal), but I don't know if it's still there (haven't been to that mall in a few months). Probably your best bet, though, would be to web order. There's not much of a market here for emo. Good luck tho!

Oh yeah, have you checked the new Dubai Mall at the base of Burj Dubai? I don't know what all they have there, I'll be going for the first time this or next weekend, I'll keep my eyes open for you.

Good evening !

I agree with the first commentor and you can also try Posters , the best thing is to buy them online
